My transformer is too large for one cover and too small for the other. Can you provide intermediate size covers?
In principle this is possible. However, customization of items in small quantities is usually too expensive. So mostly our answer will be no. Talk to us anyway, maybe we can find a solution for you.
Well, black finish is nice, but I would rather prefer a Ferrari red transformer cover. Can you do this for me?
For single items set-up costs are usually very high. Mostly our answer will be no. Why don’t you paint the transformer covers yourself? With some practice, you will get very good results.
The threaded holes are very close to the edge of the cover. How accurate do I have to drill the top plate of my case?
Included in delivery is a drilling template. Place the template on the case, fix it with tape and center the holes. To do so, either use a so-called pointed punch or center-drill the holes using a small drill bit (1.5 to 2 mm). Afer that you extend the drilling to the final size of 3.2 to 3.5 mm. Avoid off-center boreholes.
I want to cast my mains transformer. Can I do that with your covers?
This is very easy. For a small additional charge we can do this for you. Alternatively, we can offer potting compound at a very reasonable price. We don’t recommend buying potting compound from the distributors of electronic parts. Usually, prices are very high.
I use toroidal transformers. Are round transformer covers available?
No, we don’t offer covers for toroidal transformers. Stay tuned, we might expand our products range in the future.
